Summer Lovin'

The sun is finally shining down in Vancouver and it is getting HOT! We can finally bring out our summer wardrobes that have been dying to see some sun. Sundress are a personal favourite, along with shorts and a stylish tee or blouse, and of course, the perfect pair of shoes!. In store we've gotten some great new arrivals that are sure to add some flavor to those old cut off jeans. Here are our top picks;

Crop Tops: time to show off those abs you've been working all year to get. Flowing and short is the way to go when it comes to crop tops , it's the most flattering for every body type. Picking a flattering shape for your body is key; pick a style that is flattering for YOU, not what your best friend is wearing, especially when showing your stomach. Be careful not to go too short, (never above your belly button, stay classy, unless you are wearing a very high waisted pant/short) try just above the waist of your pant or half an inch below your belly button. Patterns like floral, and animal print, or even soft colours, work well. Going to bold may draw too much attention, always make sure you feel comfertable.

The Blouse: Silk Blouses dress up any look, and are more sophisticated than the casual crop top. Most silks being light and airy, you won't get too hot, and some being sheer is an added bonus. Go with just a nude bra or nude cami underneath, this way you won't take away from the blouse itself. Pick a classic colour or pattern that will transition into fall,  that way you get the most bang for your buck. Patterns are all over the runways for fall, so mid -as-well get a head start and pick something that will be flattering and in style now and later.

Fun Coloured Tee's :  Bright colours go long ways. Don't be afraid, try a bright green, pink, yellow, or any colour that looks great with a tan! Black and white are always classics that we lean towards, but its summer, try something new! Not a big fan on bold colours? try a print like loepard, stripes, or floral with some colour mixed in the print.
